Agbu Kefas, governor of Taraba, says he ordered the reduction of academy freights for tertiary institution scholars by 50 percent to address the problem of out- of- academy numbers and medicine abuse among youths in the state.
Kefas spoke on Friday during a meeting with Sonny Echono, the superintendent clerk of Tertiary Education Trust Fund( TETFund) in Abuja. ” In my docket, the precedence is education, and if you look at our region educationally there's a major problem.

While speaking, the Echono confided the governor for his sweats to hoist education in the state. Echono said TETFund has continued to deliver colorful intervention systems in both civil and state tertiary institutions in Taraba.
“ We've been making our benefactions to tertiary institutions in your state, in terms of physical structure, academic staff training and development and some of your institutions have also done well in penetrating our public exploration entitlement as well as in the publication of books and journals, ” Echono said.
