Jukun things: Lecturers and students of Federal university, Lafia left in awe as the legendary public cultural display of the Jukun students rented the air.
At the course of just concluded Cultural day Organized by the Students’ Union Government of the Federal University, Lafia, Nasarawa State. reactions trails in a viral video and pictures, where it was seen by a large audience comprises of staff and students of the varsity amidst showers of panic as two Young men dressed in a Jukun regalia surrounded by their kins were spotted in a legendary cultural display.
In a bid to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Jukun people, One was holding a machete and the other was facing him and presenting his chest which was hit with the machete, after several incantations it was seen with trails of amusement how despite several attempts the machete couldn’t penetrate the skin of the other guy.The incident garnered lots of reactions from all and sundry, that even those present referred to it as “Jukun things”. It was also gathered that passerby and other students who were present abandoned their own cultural festivities boiling at it peak, and hurriedly rushed to the scene where the Jukun students are following the uncountable shouts due to expressive shock. Shortly after they were lost in the euphoria of watching the unique display of the Jukun rich cultural heritage.
